Reminders by text message
Get your reminders by SMS as well as email, if your school offers it.
Reminders always come by email at the times you choose on your Profile page. If your school has text messaging turned on, the same page shows an Also text me switch under Meeting Reminders.
- Add your mobile number at the top of the page and save it.
- Turn on Also text me and save your reminder preferences.
You then get each reminder as a short text as well as an email — the teacher, the time, and whether it is by video (with the link) or in person (with the room). Standard message rates from your carrier may apply. Turn the switch off any time to stop.
If you do not see the switch, your school has not turned on text messaging.
