Managing your availability
Blocking and reopening times, understanding the demand banner, and what parents see.
Your slots come from the conference the office set up: the hours, how long each meeting is and the gap between them are the same for every teacher. What you control is which of those times are open.
Blocking
- Block a stretch of time — pick From and To, then Block range. Every open slot in that range is blocked in one go; booked slots are left alone and the message tells you how many were skipped.
- Block all open — everything not yet booked, for when you cannot make the evening at all (tell the office too).
- Block on a single row.
Blocked slots vanish from what parents can book. Reopen (range, all, or a row) puts them back.
The demand banner
"N students across your classes = N slots needed" counts one meeting per student per family, so a child with two households needs two. Below it: whether you have enough usable slots. If you do not, reopen some or ask the office to widen the conference hours.
Who has not booked
Once bookings start, N students without a booking lists them with their family and parent emails. Parents flagged not signed up have not set a password yet and cannot book; the office can resend their setup email.
Timing
Do your blocking before the conference is published if you can. After publishing, blocking a time that is already booked is refused — ask the family (or the office) to move it first.
