Signing in, passwords and magic links
The three ways in, what to do when a link has expired, and how to change your password.

Three ways to sign in
- Email and password — the usual way once you have set a password.
- Magic link — on the sign-in page, choose Sign in with magic link; we email you a link that signs you in with no password. It lasts 15 minutes.
- Set-password link — the email you got when your account was created. It lasts 7 days.
Expired or lost link
Go to the sign-in page and use Forgot password with the same email. That sends a fresh link (valid for an hour) that works both for resetting a password and for choosing a first one.
Changing your password or name
Once signed in, open the menu on your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings. Your email address is your sign-in identity; ask the school office to change it.
"Invalid email or password"
Use the exact email the school has for you — the one your emails arrive at. If you have never set a password, use Forgot password to set one. If you are a parent who got an invitation code, register first.
Continue with Google / Microsoft
If the sign-in page shows these buttons, your school has single sign-on. Use the school Google or Microsoft account whose email the office has on file. If it says there is no account for that email, the office needs to add you first.
