Single sign-on with Google or Microsoft
Let staff sign in with the school's Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account.
If your district uses Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, ask SchoolConference to turn on single sign-on. The login page then shows Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft buttons.
Two things to know:
- Signing in this way never creates an account. Add the person on the Staff page (or import them) first, with the same email as their Google or Microsoft account. An email the school has not added is refused with a message to contact the office.
- Staff who prefer a password can still use one; SSO is an extra door, not a replacement. Parents can use it too if their family email is a Google or Microsoft account.
Sign-in can be pinned to your domain so a personal Gmail address cannot be used.
