School settings and timezone
What the Organization page controls and why the timezone must be right before creating conferences.

Organization holds the school's name, address, contact and timezone.
Timezone
Every time in SchoolConference is a school time. "5:00 PM" on a conference means 5:00 PM in the timezone set here. Slots are generated in it, emails quote times in it, and reminders fire relative to it.
Set it before you create your first conference. Changing it later changes when existing conference slots fall, which will confuse families who have already booked.
Parents and teachers in a different timezone see times converted to their own device's clock in the app, which is what they expect.
Contact details
Address, phone and contact person are for your own records; they are not currently shown to families.
School year
The School year card at the top of the Organization page is where you start a new year — see Start a new school year.
